Curiosity & the Cat

1999

The painter Henri Kappes sits in his gloomy Berlin apartment all day long, waiting for the kiss of the muse.

Then a taciturn stranger moves into the apartment across the street and develops strange activities that arouse the painter’s curiosity. So Henri begins to spy on his new neighbor. These activities, however, do neither him nor his relationship any good. But his neighbour is apparently in trouble – and Henri becomes a confidant.

As Henri penetrates further and further into the strange world of crime and painful sex, he himself finds himself in mortal danger.
